What is Citizen Plus?

Citizen Plus is a premium alert service for those who want as much safety information as possible. 

With Citizen Plus, customers get unlimited geofenced alerts for areas like their homes, offices, or schools. Customers can also set up “Safety Radiuses” around friends’ or loved ones’ live locations. Citizen’s live agents then monitor police radios, Twitter feeds, and user-uploaded videos 24/7 within those radiuses, to send customers high-quality alerts as quickly as possible.

Citizen Plus customers will have access to historical incident data. Citizen already provides Citizen Safety Zones for free–heat maps of dangerous areas based on historical data—however, Plus customers will now be able to see the actual details of the historical incidents.
