You can sign up for Citizen with your mobile phone number or your Apple/Google Play ID. However, if you're an existing Citizen user and sign in with Apple or Google for the first time, you will create a new account instead of accessing your existing one linked to your phone number.
To continue using your original Citizen account, simply log in with your mobile phone number instead. Otherwise, you can proceed with a new account by selecting a new username.
If you have an active Citizen Premium or Citizen Plus subscription on your original account, it will not automatically transfer to your new account. To restore your subscription, follow these steps:
- Go to your profile in the Citizen app.
- Scroll to the bottom of your profile page.
- Tap "Restore Subscription" to regain access.
