What is Citizen's mission?

Citizen’s mission is to keep people safe and informed.

Citizen is powered by advanced technology that generates immediate alerts about crimes and other emergencies as they occur. When an incident is reported on Citizen, hundreds of nearby users are notified. Those users are able to stay informed with real-time updates from public safety officers, live video from other users near a scene, and details shared through our messaging platform.

We believe all humans deserve safety, and each of us has a role to play in protecting our communities.
