If you haven't received recent notifications from Citizen, this could be due to a couple reasons.
First, please make sure your phone's location and notification settings are both enabled for Citizen. Instructions are provided at the end of this article!
Even if these settings are enabled, notifications may still be infrequent, depending on your location. This is because notifications are only sent to users within a 1/4 mile of relevant incidents, and many users in less dense neighborhoods can often go several days (or even longer) without receiving a notification.
If you are sure that a Citizen notification occurred within your immediate vicinity, and you did not receive an alert, please reach out to us at support@citizen.com with the incident details and your account details, and our tech team will take a look!
